The Story Behind PDS in Spring, Texas
Did you know that KidSmiles of Lake Conroe has deep roots in Spring, Texas? It all started back in the 1980s when a dedicated pediatric dental practice opened its doors, quickly becoming a trusted name in the community. As the demand for specialized care grew, orthodontics was added, making Pediatric Dental Specialists and Orthodontics (PDS) the first practice in the area to offer board-certified pediatric dentistry and orthodontics under one roof.
A Legacy of Growth and Exceptional Care
Around the early 2000s, Dr. Pittman joined the practice and played a key role in expanding its services. As the need for orthodontic treatment increased, Dr. White came on board, further enhancing patient care. Recognizing the importance of comprehensive treatment, oral surgery (including wisdom teeth extractions) was introduced with the help of skilled local oral surgeons. In 2020, Dr. Stephens became part of the team, bringing even more expertise and completing the vision of PDS as a full-service pediatric and adolescent oral health center.
